Gamertag change seems to have caused issues.

I changed my GT via the Xbox One dash yesterday but it still shows my old GT in some places such the friends page. If I look at my profile my new GT is showing. This seems to have created an issue with fifa 14 as since my GT change, I can no longer play
matches. The lead profile is still my old GT even though my new GT shows as being signed in. Is there anyway to revert back to my old GT? How long does it take for the change to fully implement?

It does seem to have fixed the issues caused by the September update.

GAMERTAG CHANGE

The Xbox Policy Enforcement Team only issues forced Gamertag changes to Gamertags that violate the ToU and Code of Conduct. When a Forced Gamertag Change is issued, your Gamertag is converted to a randomly generated tag. I'd recommend just gathering up
the $9.99 and paying for a change, since your Gamertag does not seem to be in violation of the rules, and I do not foresee a Forced Gamertag Change being issued for it.

My 360 has recognised the GT change & signs me in with new GT but Xbox One still signs me in as the old GT even though it shows my new GT in games etc.

I would recommend clearing the system cache on both systems, logging out of your Gamer Tag and restarting the devices and logging back in.

I had a similar issues with Call of Duty Elite & Black Ops 2

You may be able to get your GT back if it's available.

A lot of games seem to be locked to their respective regions lately. This means that if you live in Indonesia but have your gamertag set to Singapore then that may be what's causing the issue. You would have to have your gamertag set to the region you
physically live in.

Hello there,

You'll have to contact the game developer. Gamertag changes shouldn't cause any issues, but if you've only lost game data in one game it's on the game devs end.
