Gamertag change request.

About a week ago i was playing GTAO and over heard 2-3players talking about clips they wanted for a video they were recording during that game. they wouldnt tell e the channel name or video title so im not able to report the video but im more than positive
my name was in the video as for about 2 hours now, ive been receiving random blank messages from gamertags of all sorts. I.E. 'AaAaAaaAAAa' or 'bBabNbBnAnb'. its been mixed letters, repeated letters, all uppercase and lowercase. im not able to reply to them
either and reporting hasnt done a thing to help. I talked to a support rep and they suggested putting my status to 'busy', that did not help. he also suggested blocking communications with all except added friends. i dont want to do that but tried anyways,
still did not help. the rep also suggested a gamertag change so thats where im at now as my last resort. i like my name but i guess you win some and lose some. I was told to post on here to request this. If im not in the right forum/section, please let me
know!

Gamertag Change Request

forced name changes only occur if the enforcement team deems your tag offensive. As yours does not you will need to pay the 800 MS points like everyone else to change it. If you are being harassed, I suggest reading the following thread to assist.

You will not get a free gamertag change.

Block comms & report anyone sending abusive messages via your console.

If you have already set comms to friends only then you wouldn't receive any more messages from people not on your friends list.

 

New stories arise every day. The fact is, there is no harassment going on but rather a tutorial is probably being followed on a modding forum. It'll cost you $9.99 to get a new name.

 

Fyi I'd you used the 7sins forum suggest you read the end there is consequences and a disclaimer for using the 'remplate it's fake and drops down your rating when you make false reports
