Gamertag change problem

Hi.

So i was about to change my gamertag January 28th. But when i did i didn't get a new gamertag at all and Xbox pulled the double amount of money from my creditcard.

Have anyone else experienced anything similar? This has never happened to me before. I've changed my gamertag 2 years ago and it worked very good.

I have no idea what to do. Is this possible to get a refund?

Gamer profile issue

Problem solved created a new sdult profile and linked it old gamertag. Then changed settings and now can play online!

I do want to change my gamertag so it's easier for people. Problem is, so many short names are taken.

 

You'll want to contact support directly for this.

- Go to support.xbox.com/contact-us

- Click on "Billing"

- Click on "Billing errors" below that, on the right

- Click on "Chat with Microsoft support" or "Request a call from support"

You can also call them directly at (800) 469-9269.

I Have A Problem,This One Gameratg Shows That Its Taken But When I Try To Find The Gamertag Theres Nothing About It

 

When I try to change my gamertag with the microsoft ponts in my account it says that this payment option has been used and not worked before when I change the payment option to microsoft points i still say's the error and i am getting very adjectated.

If it says it is taken then it is taken I klallber is the same as iklallber

Spacing does not affect the name

You will have to be more creative with your name

Also searching the site not asking an Xbox agent will help you as it only searches xboxx not Xbox for phones or tablets or zune

 

I bought my xbox one like a month ago its the first time i use xbox sistem so i didnt know much about it. So the sistem ask me for a gamertag and i put whatever was in my mind because i was exited so i can play. then when i tried to change the gamertag it
says that i need to pay and i didnt know that to chanfe the gamertag you need to pay for it so i want to know if you can help me so i can change it for free other wize ill need to eliminate my progress on my account so i can make another account with the same

sorry you get one free name change as long as you do it within 30 days of creating the account and only if it was one generated by the system for you (it would look kinda like this 'happykitty12345' ). after that then you will have to pay to change it there
is no other way to get it for free.

 

what if you change your email, create another account with a different email with your preferred GT then use your first account as the email for that preferred GT? You could do that to get the gamertag that you want. Switching the Microsoft Accounts around would tie your previous digital purchases to the new gamertag, but all of the games that you've completed with the first gamertag would be gone, as they would be
tied to the first account.

 

Xbox told me I've found a glitch then tell me to download my account again I do that them they've changed my gamertag for the second time now and they want me to pay to change it again what the actual *** is this?

 

then its time to read the rules again and take them seriously

multiple name changes will result in a perma ban of your account

do you really want to take a chance with your MONEY because you want to be funny?

your name must be rated E for everyone and you shouldn't try and reuse the same name in a different way if it still contains the offending word or using another letter or symbol to try and bypass the word filter

 

I agree, there's only one chance to change the Gamertag for free, make sure that the gamertag you have chosen will be appropriate and meets the requirements. It will save you time and money too.
