    Gamertag Change Please


    I recently changed my gamertag in the last few hours and it is not at all what I wanted. Can I please get a free chance to change it to what I want since it's recent?

    You must pay $10 to change your gamertag. There is no other way. The people from those modding forums who told you to say that you're being harassed are wrong. You will NEVER be given a free name change for that.

    If your claim that your being harassed is true (which I do not believe, BTW), then you need to use the privacy and feedback functionality on your gamertag. You can use the feedback functions to block that player and file a complaint
    against them. And you can change your privacy settings to "Friends Only", or "Blocked" to avoid any more harassment.

    If you want to change your GT again you will have to pay $10. There are no free tag changes unless you have received an auto generated tag on account creation. Sorry.

    Yeah. I doubt there will be an exception even if you try to contact support about it. There's a confirmation process before you can claim it so that can't be considered as accident because you need to purposely click confirm to get it. So any change following
    that will be charged as its considered as service.

    You do not need to change your gamertag.

    Block communication with this person, and report them for the harassment.

    One doesn't simply get a free gamertag change because THEY SAY they are being threatened, then everyone would claim this.
