    Gamertag change not reflecting on console or online


    Hey Microsoft, i changed my gamertag around 20 hours ago and i am still not seeing anything changed. I did receive the email confirmation that the transaction was successful. One thing i have noticed, is that the application seems to be a bit slow and sometimes
    it bugs out all together. When i finally got the payment to go through, it never went to the screen where it says the change was successful. How should i proceed?

    Hello Rigaderchi, I'm sure you are able to get on by now, but for future references, if your account on your console is not reflecting the correct subscription status, you should be able to update it immediately by running the Xbox LIVE Connection test or
    by recovering your Gamertag. Gamertag change not reflecting on console or online :)

    Give 48 hrs time to the change to be committed and if you still have issues with the gtag change contact xbox chat support for further help:

    If my account is linked on xbox 360 and series x, do both gamertags change if i change it one of of the consoles

    It should reflect the new Gamertag if you have changed it on the Xbox 360 console. This Gamertag should reflect on the website or on a newer console. You will need to pay the Gamertag change fee in order to do this.

    Of your gamertag doesn't reflect on the console that you changed it to, I would delete the profile only from the console then redownload it.
