    Yeah, but if I changed that gamertag from Mosh1mo to something else, will that make that gamertag available or forever gone? I just want my gamertag for a new console... Not the games as he can keep them.

    You can change your gamertag at any time, but you will need to pay for it. No one here can change it for you. If you are being harrassed, you should file complaints and block communications with those people.

    You can change your gamertag at any time, but you will need to pay for it. No one here can change it for you. If you are being harrassed, you should file complaints and block communications with those people.

    Hi MadGeras,

    Did you originally change the gamertag from the system generated one? If you did, that is the only time you can change it from the website. To change it from the console goto Social>Select your Avatar>Go Right and select Change Gamertag (Please note that
    any gamertag change after changing from the system generated one will cost 800 MS points).

    Gamertag changes are seperate from memberships. Gamertag changes are always 800pts unless otherwise stated. Buying a new membership doesn't prorate/cancel out the price of a Gamertag change.
