Gamertag change does not show in MW2

Hey everybody, hope someone can help me here

I have not been playing for quite a long time and so I saw I can change my old gamertag for free one time

I went ahead and did this and it shows on my profile but when Im playing MW2 (have not played any other game yet to check) it still shows my old Gamertag (in games and on my HQ)

How come and how to fix this?

Hello Shotgun, Gamertag's exchange system is fully automated, after the gamertag is switched the system takes time to update the name of the developer's databases.

So in your profile Gamertag already appears the new but in other games not yet.

Yes exactly.

I changed the Gamertag about a week and played almost everyday since then but somehow Call of duty still shows my old Gamertag

Hello again, I do not know why, but in some developers it may take longer than others for gamertag to update
