Please check gamertag availability. Make sure that the gamertag you want to use is available. If it's already taken, the system won't allow you to change to it.

And then verify payment method.If you're trying to change your gamertag after using the free change, please ensure that your payment method is valid and up-to-date because this will be a paid changes and it requires a valid payment method.

If changing it from the console doesn't work, kindly change your gamertag on a different device, such as a PC or mobile browser.

The shrine does works. Its displays as 0%, but check the shout cooldown, you'll see, they are changed. They will give the same cooldown rates as the amulet. When the shrine time runs out, you'll see that the shout cooldown goes back to normal.

I want to change my gamertag so I am no longer stuck with my old one, and supposedly its free the first time, and yet it still says I have to pay. is there any way I can change it without having to pay a stupid fee made for "security reasons" (face it Microsoft, its for money. add a cooldown.)

You only get the free name change if you didnt choose your gamertag yourself when creating your account and if you were given a randomly generated gamertag.

The gamertag you have right now isnt a randomly generated one and would be one that you would have chosen. That would have counted as your one free gamertag change.

Any further changes would have the gamertag change fee.

Manhunt-Defense Smoke/Mute, Overall cooldown/Kill buffer, Boost cooldown/Animus silent streak.

Offense-Kinves/Mute, Overall cooldown/Kill buffer, X2/5 normal streak.

Escort-Protector Gun/Knives, Overall cooldown/Kill buffer, 9 hack streak/lesser hack

VIP Hunter- Smoke/Poison, Overall cooldowns/Kill buffer, 5 Silent/X2

Artifact assult-Smoke/Teleport, Overall cooldowns/Autobash, 5 Normal streak/Boost cooldowns

That's the main classes for the modes I play, If I play another mode I'll use a certain set depending on the lobby.

Also it is possible to run smoke/teleport without grabbing the artifact,dropping smoke, and teleporting away, the only time I do that is if I'm cut off from my team and can't escape with either free-runing or smoke stuns.
