Gamertag change/ account different : between FS2020 purchase and purchasing in FS2020 boutique

I purchased and downloaded FS2020. My hard drive failed so I purchased a new, more powerful PC. The download page indicates that I own it but how do I re-download FS2020 to the new computer? The old hard drive is not functionable. Thxs MrK

I had that very same issue, and I need to ask you a couple of things. It is normal for the store to say “this product won’t work on this device”, because the “upgrades” aren’t games. They are just addons.

here is a fix for your errors.

1. Are you playing FS2020 on the account you bought the game from. When the game asks you to log in, are you logging into the same account you used to install?

2. Are you using FS2020 from game pass for PC? Game pass for pc only includes the standard edition.

Here is what you need to do in order for it to work.

1. Make sure that you when you log into your computer that you are using the same account you bought FS2020 premium deluxe on.

2. If you are in a Microsoft family, then make sure that your account isn’t a child one.

3. when FS2020 prompts you to log in to make it work, make sure that you are using the same account that you used to purchase FS2020.

Then it should work.

I have installed al of the 10 dvds abd when i put in dvd nr one snd start fs2020 I have to put in the Registration nr and but then uts written ”it id already used” (something like that. its not on the dvd:s. Last time I reinstall Windows 10 I had to start Windows store and start Fs2020 from there becouse the Registration nr is stored in the store someway where its says I own FS2020 i library. But when I change my hardwear and update Windows to 11 I dont own the FS2020 in library and can nit use the dvd for the installation, becouse after the installing i have to write the Registration number.

So the dvd:s work for the installing but i cant start the fs2020.

I have two different emails which i use for Windows. The solution for me was to sign out in FS2020 and Sign in again using the email which was used to buy FS2020.

You can sign out by clicking on your nickname on the top right corner of the Welcome tab in FS2020. The dropdown box will give you the option to sign out.

After sign out, you can sign in using the correct email and in my case FS2020 started to download new content which was about 3 to 4 gigs.

In the end my solution was not in the Store but in FS2020.

And I am uninstalling FS2020, chalking up both purchases (XBox/Win10 version from Amazon and DVD version from a flight shop) totaling over $250, plus my $2000 lost work time as a complete loss except that I learned that FS2020 may be a good game but is not an appropriate training tool. I cannot waste any more time with this. I have purchased XPlane 11 and will stick to that. No more MS games for me...ever. This has been horrible, and I cannot waste any more time with it.
