Gamertag Capitalization

Discus and support Gamertag Capitalization in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; My current gamertag is "" when I was younger my parents set this up for me and now as I'm getting older I just want to capitalize the "P" to make it ""...     Gamertag Capitalization


    My current gamertag is "" when I was younger my parents set this up for me and now as I'm getting older I just want to capitalize the "P" to make it "" and nothing else. I check availability of them and they are both available. Even my
    current gamertag is as well which I don't get.

    Gamertag Capitalization

    When you change a gamertag, it frees it up for use in the system. So it won't block it for being used before, but the system may not free it up immediately. I've heard anywhere from 24 hours to 45 days. So you may not be able to change it back right away.

    I changed my gamertag and had my caps lock stuck and i changed it and i dont if i need to pay $10 more to get the capitalization changed

    You would have to change your tag to something else and then change it back in order to capitalize the letter.

    thank you for your answers.

    I know that gamertag is case and space insensitive ,It’s simply a cosmetical issue. I don’t know why something as simple as this is so difficult for Microsoft.

    Capitalization and spaces in gamertags do not make a difference for instance Jos Vls would be the same as josvls

    Actually you would have to pay twice as the system doesn't recognize the difference between capital letters & lower case ones.

    You would need to change your tag to something else first then change it again to the one you have now but with lower case letters in it.
