Gamertag Capitalization Question.

You would have to do it but you would have to pay twice.

You would need to change your tag to something else then change that tag to your old one but with a capital C.

No one else can do this for you & you won't get the changes for free.

I know that gamertag is case and space insensitive ,It’s simply a cosmetical issue. I don’t know why something as simple as this is so difficult for Microsoft.

Capitalization and spaces in gamertags do not make a difference for instance Jos Vls would be the same as josvls

Actually you would have to pay twice as the system doesn't recognize the difference between capital letters & lower case ones.

You would need to change your tag to something else first then change it again to the one you have now but with lower case letters in it.

When you change a gamertag, it frees it up for use in the system. So it won't block it for being used before, but the system may not free it up immediately. I've heard anywhere from 24 hours to 45 days. So you may not be able to change it back right away.
