Gamertag can't find it! Any help please....?

Ok, please help!!!

I bought my son a new x box for xmas, but it has been living at his mums for the past couple of weeks. Mum has now got him one again and so this has come to my house. Trouble is...his gamertag (x box gold) from his mums is on there and no matter what I do
to try to retrieve his gamertag he uses at mine(again x box gold) I just can't!!! I have followed half a dozen youtube vids on the subject. I sign out of all profiles, but the "Retrieve gamer tag" just doesn't appear ANYWHERE. is NOT the gamertag,
but I seem to remember I made that name up for my son at some point when registering for the x box gold account....

Is there anyway i can get find out my friends GT's from Msn?

I've lost contact with some people on msn but some of them still play xbox but i can't find out their Gamertags, any help?

 

Xbox gamertag transfer help

Hi i have a question about gamertag transfer from the 360 to the one and i know i can find this anywhere but my situation is a bit different. My 360 has never been connected to the internet but obviously my xbox one has, so can I transfer my 360 gamertag/gamerscore to my current xbox one gamertag/gamerscore?

To recover the gamertag you want, I would recommend that you

1) Try out any emails you may think you might have used for his gamertag. Clearly the email you tried out isn't the right email associated with his Microsoft account. Try out his emails and yours. Or try out his email at outlook.com or Hotmail.com. EX: if
your email is awesomegamer@gm**l.com, try out *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** (or @Hotmail.com) you may have created a brand new email for his account without realizing it.

2) Contact support. They are pretty awesome at recovering the account. If you know the gamertag of the account its relatively easy for them to find their profile. If you have an active subscription attached to a credit card, that's even better. They can
pull up your account even if you don't know the gamertag if it is associated with a credit card attached to an active subscription.

I've been trying for a week. Now, thanks to you Grimnoc within five minutes I have located his gamertag and it's now on his new x box. I checked out the e-mail addy and you were right, I had used an old one that did "Log in" but wasn't connected to the gamertag
I was looking for....DOH!
