Gamertag been stolen from account!

Hello

I awoke this morning to a message saying that this profile last signed in on another console and noticed that my gamertag had been changed from 'techno' to , when I lookup that gamertag it is now tied to a profile with 0G. I still have access
to my account it is just that my gamertag has gone and obviously the gamertag is very special to me, I have no idea what could of happened.

Posting this here as there is a lack of option to contact Xbox enforcement unless you have received a suspension, i'm just preying to god that someone somewhere can help me out with this!

I don't think there's been any enforcement action on your account so i'd suggest contacting support

support.xbox.com/.../contact-us & they should be able see any suspicious activity on your account.

Gamertags are part of the service Microsoft provides for Xbox360. The gamertag is part of the intellectual property of Microsoft and in no part is ever "owned" by a member. No two gamertags can exist at the same time and rarely does Microsoft ever delete
gamertags or recycle them, so if its been used find something similar but different. It can feel like something has been "stolen" from you and that can be annoying or upsetting but nothing has been stolen from you. .

It doesn't sound like your account was "hacked" or stolen. Simply expired.

Gamertags that have not been active in a long while are freed up so people that want inactive Gamertags may claim them.

Bottom line the xbox banned and it cant be undone.

Yeah, if something gets stolen, call the police. You'll also want to change the password(s) on your account(s) so they can't be accessed from the stolen Xbox. You may also wish to contact Support and report the stolen console/ accounts just in case credit
card info has been used, or something's been done on or to the account that would get it banned.
