    I made my account on 2/3/17 as the name CumminsInMe. Its an inside joke that my buddies and I have since I am a diesel fanatic and I love the Cummins motor in the Dodge Ram. We joke that I love them so much I must run on a Cummins since I'm so obsessed with
    them. I wake up this morning (2/4/17) and my gamertag has been changed. I was wanting some help with this issue and and have a potential refund since I find nothing wrong with the gamertag at all and I feel wrongly accused. Any help is greatly appreciated,

    Banned words for Gamertag?

    Okay, for the record, I did NOT use vulgarity up there where it's edited. I used the clinical scientific term for droppings left behind by a biological organism. I'm honestly more than a little surprised that word is filtered. Either way, starred out

    Okay, citing that bold portion, any form of that word by itself is NOT sexual in nature. I don't know where anyone is getting that idea, but... it kind of bothers me that people think that. The worst definition simply means "animal droppings". And
    even then, phrased in a way that it's not vulgar. And really, in what world is it the end of all if a kid talks about animal droppings for a moment? You see that sort of thing in cartoons that are by definition "E for everyone". Also, the singer wasn't
    exactly all that "obscure" in the 90's. They freaking made a Good Humor ice cream commercial based off his most popular song of the day.

    Having said all that, fine, someone on the PET saw that and decided, wrongly or not, that it meant something awful. Thing is, even just reading through this thread, seems a fair number of people never would've dreamed that was offensive, or even knew
    it was a word in some cases. This is Xbox's world and they can make the rules, but maybe if there was a list we could consult before making a name, that would be helpful in cases like these? Disallow any word you like, but let us know so we don't stumble
    into something like this. And to be clear, I don't think a list full of the worst words in the world should be posted up on the website for all to see. But surely there's some way to allow adult profiles to access it? Request an e-mail? Anything?

    Why is "LOL" not allowed in my motto?

    The reason is simple. MS is on a ban wave of original gamertags that have been stolen or unautherized V1 reset. The gamertag "LOL" was reset using a hack. Therefore MS console banned the user and name banned the gamertag "LOL". As a result of the name ban
    the word "LOL" cannot be put as a gamertag, in your motto, bio, name etc. All the other "normal" words that you cannot put in your profile are also stolen gamertags that have been name banned.
