Gamerscore Reset.

hello. i private message one of the XBLPET members that told me i modded my gamescore (its been over 1 week) and it feels like im being ignored. is there a way i can appeal/overturn this decision? i never cheated with my gamescore and i'm the only
one who has access to this account too. i even checked http://enforcement.xbox.com/ and it says i have a perfect score. i was experiencing many weird issue prior to my gamescore being
reset such as my gamerscore decreasing little by little everyday then increasing drastically (my gamerscore was around 105,000 and it shot up to 113,000) then started to decrease again but i didnt think to much of it since i knew xbox live was having issues.
i hope i can get some help. thankyou.

Do you ever wish you could choose to reset your GS for individual games to get achievements again?

You can't cheat if it resets your achievements and gamerscore for that game and reduces your overall gamerscore by the same amount.

Say you have 50k GS. You reset the achievements and GS for ME2 which you had 1150GS in. Now you have 0 GS and achievements in ME2 and your overall GS is 48,850.

Modded Gamerscore

No one here can.Only the enforcement team can reset gamerscores.

You can't request a gamerscore reset but if your gamerscore is modded it will get reset eventually.

Before a reset occurs, the enforcement team investigates things completely. They are 100% certain before they reset achievements. There is no way to appeal a reset. The XBLPET will not usually respond to PM's, but you can post in this forum:

forums.xbox.com/.../41.aspx and they should give you an answer as to why it happened. This can be in the form of a PM so keep track of your PMs.

You could try explaining things as you have here in that forum, but it likely will not make any difference. There is also the option of starting an unauthorized access investigation to see if the account was not in your control when this happened. For that
you need to call support at 800-4my-xbox for the US and Canada. Your account will be frozen during the investigation. If somebody accessed your account from your own home, nothing can be done as your account is your responsibility at all times.

I'm afraid that there is no way to reset a legitimate gamerscore at all. Gamerscore resets are only given to people who illegitimately modify their gamerscore. When they get their gamerscore reset, however, there are a number
of other consequences:

1) All of the gamerscore will be reset to zero.

2) A person with a gamerscore reset will be permanently branded "Cheater" on your gamertag.

3) All lost gamerscore and achievement are gone forever, and irretrievable.

I don't think your friend got to keep any gamerscore from then. Once a reset is done all achievements are lost regardless of how they were gotten. Also, once reset you can never re-earn those achievements again.

I hate to butt in like this but a gamerscore reset resets and locks off all achievements regardless of whether they were earned or hacked. It's supposed to act as a deterant but for some reason people do it anyway then whinge when they're caught and punished.
