    Hello.

    Yesterday I started playing GTA IV on PC and when Games for Windows Live popped up, it showed I had 0 gamerscore. I just presumed it was a syncing issue since I hadn't played for a long time, but when I logged onto the xbox website, it was clear that this
    was not the case. All my achievements had indeed been deleted. Every. Single. One. I was devastated, and I still am. Hours of gaming from way back in 2008 is where that comes from, and it's all gone.

    I recall my gamerscore increasing by a large amount at one point, and I never really thought to report it. I don't know if it's possible to hack gamerscore, but maybe that's happened?

    Is there anyway I can retrieve my gamerscore?

    Reset my gamerscore

    I'm afraid that there is no way to reset a legitimate gamerscore at all. Gamerscore resets are only given to people who illegitimately modify their gamerscore. When they get their gamerscore reset, however, there are a number
    of other consequences:

    1) All of the gamerscore will be reset to zero.

    2) A person with a gamerscore reset will be permanently branded "Cheater" on your gamertag.

    3) All lost gamerscore and achievement are gone forever, and irretrievable.

    Do you ever wish you could choose to reset your GS for individual games to get achievements again?

    You can't cheat if it resets your achievements and gamerscore for that game and reduces your overall gamerscore by the same amount.

    Say you have 50k GS. You reset the achievements and GS for ME2 which you had 1150GS in. Now you have 0 GS and achievements in ME2 and your overall GS is 48,850.

    There is no way to appeal a gamerscore correction. We only correct gamerscores for players who meet the criteria 100%. Your best choice is to show the community you won’t do it again.
    There must've been clear evidence of cheating on your account if they decided to reset it. Is it possible that your friend did it without you knowing?

    Well Support is completely incorrect on this situation. The XBL PET do not take any enforcement action on an account until they have completed their investigation, not before or during the process.

    A Gamer Score Reset is issued when achievements are gained in an illegitimate manner. One large indicator of this would be if someone had online only achievements unlocked while offline. Another would be to have multiple games with
    achievement unlocks on the same date. And of course there are other indicators as well.

    Either way for any information regarding your reset you will need to post in the
    My Live Account was Suspended Forum for an official response. The XBL PET are the only ones who can tell you, all we can do here is speculate (to a large degree of accuracy).

    I've made a thread in the "My Account Was Suspended" forum, but got a sort of automated response from the Enforcement Team. For some reason the Enforcement Team or anyone that reviewed my complaint, does not believe that I'm an honest played and that I did
    not use any glitch or cheat or anything of that matter for the purpose of getting achievements. I've been following my brother's path as an Achievement Hunter and getting achievement is the reason I play on Xbox360. To be honest, achievements are part of my
    life. Outside school and friends, I play Xbox360 to get achievements.
