Gamerscore fell?

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this, so apologies in advance if it isn't.

I haven't been using either of my Xbox consoles (360 and One) very much for the past 2 months now, as I've been busy with other things. Today, I logged into my Xbox One for the first time in 3-4 weeks I believe, and I noticed that I've lost 30 gamerscore
for some reason. I checked it out on my 360 as well, and before logging in, it showed my account as having 2720 gamerscore, which is what it had when I last signed in weeks ago. After I logged in, it fell down to 26990, which is what it also showed me on the
One.

It isn't a big deal, but I've never seen my gamerscore fall like this before, and I'm just curious as to why it happened? Do games sometimes change the gamerscore each achievement gives out, which might have affected my own score?

I currently have a gamerscore of about 12k. I don't really focus on achievements or things like that, it has just accumulated since I have been playing. I have a friend with an outrageous score. But I wondered what everyone else's gamerscore looked like? Are you as anal as my friend that needs to open every achievement for every game, lol?

more muliplayer, ive had live for 10years and my gamerscore is less than 20000

 

Hey there!

Is it possible you earned an achievement on your Xbox 360 while offline? If you synced your profile before signing into Xbox Live on that console, there may be some discrepancies with your Gamerscore.

No, I haven't really played my 360 for half a year now, and I don't think I've ever played it offline before. The last console I played before going on my "hiatus" was the Xbox One, and I'm nearly 100% certain the last achievement I earned was on there (I
think I last played Gears of War Ultimate Edition, and earned some chieves while doing so).

Really odd that you're seeing a discrepancy in score. Unfortunately it sounds like you'll need to re-earn those points. It's a small amount so it may be difficult to find which achievement isn't showing correctly for you, but at this point I'm afraid it's
your best option.

I tried adding up all my scores for each game, and they do indeed add up to 26990 gamerscore. I'm not sure which achievements I'm supposed to be missing either.

Just one more question though, if those achievements have already been "earned", is it possible to "earn" them again? I don't think they're showing as being earned for me any more, but I'm not entirely sure. I don't want to have to go through each game to
check, and I wouldn't be able to remember all the achievements I've earned over the years by now anyway.

If they show as completed but they aren't unlocked yet it may take a little time for them to pop (48-72 hours generally). If they show as incomplete you shouldn't have any issues re-earning them
