Gamerscore dropped from 100900 to 5800 after syncing account to Xbox 360

There seems to be some bugs on how this works. I have confirmed one bug with the system so far, but the one I found seems fixable. Right now, the 360 will count gamerscore from different systems ( I.E. Xbox One, Windows Live, etc ).

I had an issue with gamerscore showing up wrong, not counting my XBONE score on my 360. I had 530 Gamerscore accrued from my Xbox One. It was working fine on my 360 keeping track of BOTH systems, until I re-downloaded and overwrote my profile. The newly
downloaded profile, even though shows the 530 Gamerscore in list form, from the Xbox One, it was NOT adding it to the total. This is a no nonsense sure defacto bug on Microsoft's side when dealing with profile downloading. No amount of time (syncing) would
allow it to re-update to the correct overall gamerscore. So the 360 would only show the score for 360 games and any synced Windows Live scores. Windows Live scores seem to work out pretty well, but may suffer the same bug.

The "FIX" . Simply logged into my XBOX One, got one achievement, it then resent the new XBONE games achievements to the online profile stored on their servers. The next time I logged on with my 360, it auto updated the gamerscore correctly on my 360.
No amount of waiting, restarting, on the 360 would fix the gamerscore value, until I actually logged into the XBOX One. This only happened after a profile download on the 360. I assume the "bug" is that the 360 has a bad algorithym it follows, and doesn't
know it is NOT counting gamerscore, until you actually increase it on the other system, forcing it to sync with the new value. The old value, not being reason enough to sync it.

If any of this makes sense, it may can account for why people are missing a lot of gamerscore. Offline players may experience more complications, if at any time there is data corruption, and you never allowed it to sync your gamerscore, it can easily be
lost. I've seen people lose thousands of GS this way, because they play offline , get the points, but then something bad happens, forcing them to re-download their profile. Since it was never synced online, they permanently lost it.

Here's mine. The XB1 couldn't stay locked in at 5800 and kept fluctuaing back and forth down to 4300 kbps. My Panasonic TV with embedded Netflix started almost instantly on 5800 kbps and stayed there (on WiFi no less!).

I've got Time Warner Ultimate internet in NYC that's clocking in about 55 Mbps down 5 Mbps up.

Made it to 5800 but quickly dropped down to 1050 which is 640x480. It later went up to 720p 3000 bit rate but I would say the average was between 1050 and 1750

Were you using a gamertag from the old gamertag system? Your Xbox profile is associated with your Microsoft account. You should not lose any gamerscore.

It is probably a sync issue. Try to sign in on the Xbox website and your gamerscore should show fine there.

yes and if the xbox live on the 360 shut down .. i wont be able to go online and sync them thats why am asking

You don't have to go online to sync xbox 360 achievements.Achievements on the 360 are linked to your account only so it doesn't matter if you are connected to live or not in order to unlock them.

Xbox one games achievements are linked to your account & the cloud servers to prevent Gamerscore modding which is why you can only unlock a limited amount offline.

Even if they did shut down the xbox 360 live servers you would still be able to unlock achievements apart from online only (multiplayer) achievements.

My secondary profile didn't connect to xbox live for 3 years on the 360 & had about 25000 Gamerscore on it before I connected to xbox live.The only thing that was different was that those achievements I earnt offline didn't have a date & time stamp on them.
