Gamerpics not showing.

Hi there. I recently purchased an Xbox One S 1tb and after setting it all up I noticed that my friends' gamerpics were not showing up. I have restarted my console many times, I have deleted my account from the Xbox and then installed it again. Please help
as it is a big nuisance.

Kinect Problems

Update: The gamerpic I use is saved with Kinect right? Well after I set up my account and such with it, I changed my gamerpic. Now when Kinect shows my gamerpic (I.E. when it says "Couldn't sign in" and its supposed to show your gamerpic) It shows my old
gamerpic not the new one.

 

Avatar not showing on live site and gamerpicture different.

I'm not sure about the avatar, but the gamerpic is an Xbox One gamerpic. The website has been updated to show Xbox One gamerpics in some areas instead of 360 gamerpics. If you don't have a One, you're given a default gamerpic. Gamercards have not been updated
to show Xbox One information which is why it's still a 360 gamerpic.

 

Hey there, there are multiple reasons to this.

Are you sure you restarted the console doing a power cycle?

This means:

Turning it off

Unplugging the power cable

Waiting 15 seconds

Turning it on again.

If this didn't fix your problem, it can be a connection issue or a slow internet connection. It can also be a temporary Xbox Live issue.

I'm sure if your console works fine than you will get your friend's gamerpic soon.

You can ultimately try a factory reset keeping games and appsif you are still unsure.

Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. Sometimes it takes a bit for the pictures to show correctly. Have you tested your network connection and made sure that is all good, and you have open NAT type?

Hi Brad. I tried the network connection and it said everything was good, but when I tried to test the NAT Type it came up with moderate. I previously had the original Xbox one and that one worked fine so I'm just a bit confused why this is not working. It's
100% usable but just a bit annoying when you can't see any pictures or gamerpics.

Hello William,

Moderate NAT type can affect different things. As far as the gamer pics it unclear as to why they aren't showing. You can go to settings>network>network settings>adv. settings> clear alt mac address and restart. This should help with the moderate NAT type
and hopefully get it back to open. I know you stated you removed profile once. Would you try it again this time after you remove the profile, power cycle the console, then when you turn it back on then add your profile back to the console.

Sometimes this is just a cloud sync issue and all you need to do is wait, You can try power cycling the console or clearing the MAC address but these things usually fix themselves within 24 hours

 

I turned my console on this morning and now all of the pictures and gamerpics are showing. Thank you to everyone who replied to my question. Thank you!
