    Gamerpic won't change


    I've tried to change my gamerpicture a couple times and I've waited days and it still hasn't changed. I even tested if maybe it was something bad so I tried to put a cat as my picture and there's still nothing changing. Any help?

    The One won't show the 360 gamerpics. You'd have to change your gamerpic to one of the ones that are made for the One.

    I'm sorry you are experiencing this with your gamer picture change. No worries, let me help you sort this out.

    It's important to note that this is a public user-to-user community forum, and none of us here work for Microsoft.

    Based on your description, are you trying to change your gamer picture with a custom gamer picture? (Including the picture of a cat.)

    According to the official Xbox website:

    > To upload a custom image, connect a USB device with the JPG or PNG image you want to use.

    > Custom images are only available for adult Microsoft accounts.

    > Your image must be at least 1080 x 1080 pixels.

    > It might take a little while for your custom image to appear while Microsoft verifies that it’s OK to use. (If it’s not, the image will be reverted to the last gamer pic or avatar you were using.)

    > Custom gamerpics are subject to the Xbox Community Standards. Images that violate the standards can result in enforcement action by the Xbox Safety team.

    Since you have tried to upload your gamer pictures to no avail, it might be possible that the system has detected that your account is a child account.

    Note: A child account is registered on the birthdate 21 years old and below upon the account's first creation while an adult account is registered on the birthdate 22 years old and older.

    Gamerpic changes have been disabled to reduce strain on the servers during the current global crisis

    hopefully it won't last much longer and you'll be able to use a custom gamerpic soon
