Gamerpic will not change when I want to update my avatar

I purchased some new items for my avatar and made the changes to it but when I update my Gamerpic it still displays the old Gamerpic. Would anyone know want would cause this to happen and how it can be fixed? Thanks.

Avatar not updating inside games

In the screenshot, the reason the smaller icon has the (older) blue shirt is that this does not update automatically. It is your gamerpic, and reflects what your Avatar was wearing when you took the picture. If you want to change the Avatar in the gamerpic
you should go to Xbox.com/My Account and beneath your Avatar choose 'Edit My Avatar'. On the next screen you can choose 'gamer picture' where you can take a new 'image' of your Avatar, now wearing the updated clothing.

 

Gamerpics

I accidentally clicked " Use avatar as gamerpic ", and I want to change it back. However, whenever I click " Choose your gamerpic, " it just bricks until I press the middle button. I hate the way my avatar looks and I want my gamerpic back to normal! HELP!

Where were you trying to update your Gamerpic? Xbox One, Xbox 360 or Xbox.com?
