Fallout 3 is for us market only and I'm in Ireland so it won't let me use my code, I already changed my location on xbox to us and still wont work???

The game is region locked. So changing your region to the US would not work unless you were physically in the US. Fallout 3 is available in Ireland so unless you bought a US code elsewhere, you shouldn't have a problem.

When you try to redeem your Fallout 3 code, do you get a specific error code? It would look something like 0x00000000 or XBOS-0000. Or do you only get an error message?

Like Smwutches noted above, an account and physical region mismatch could be causing the issue but also, something such as lack of billing information on your account could be preventing you from redeeming your code. You can update that information on the
Commerce Site without needing to add a credit card.
