i want to know why you guys changed my gamer tag that i paid 10 dollars for. I want a refund on my money or a different gamer tag of my choice

You should've read the rules more carefully then

It doesn't matter if you made a new gamertag nor will your next one be free

You broke the. Rules nor will you be rewarded or refunded for it

Your name must be rated e for everyone

Next time think carefully before you break the rules as it does cost you every time

 

ok well first of all you guys need to have a piece of mind before changing someone's gamer tag without telling them. If they take it offensive that's their problem not mine. if the name was inappropriate then why did it let me accept it. if you guys where
smart you would've declined it way before I paid. I want my money back or a different gamer tag

people a message telling them their going to change their gamer tag. I did not spend money so I can get my gamer tag switched to something so irrelevant. at least switch it to something that will fit my profile. I want a switch in my gamer tag or a refund
or I will contact the higher people in Microsoft that will actually help me

Microsoft can change any offensive gamertag without notifying you first,which you agreed to when you started your account.

As ngocphi said,you will not get a free change,if you want to change it you will have to pay.

To many forced name changes will result in your account being banned.

 

ok well first of all I was never informed that my gamer tag was inappropriate.. that's another one of your problems is lack of communication. When people change their gamer tags, it doesn't tell them what they shouldn't and shouldn't put. so why is it our
fault? its not our fault you guys didn't cover or block the words that sound or look similar? you guys should've blocked the words instead of letting people spend ten dollars which I think is way to much for a ignorant gamer tag of their choice, just to have
it changed without being notified. I think as x box you would be the type that wants better for their customers but not even that. I have to fight for a gamer tag that I didn't even choose. and without being notified that it was going to be changed. not only
that I had so many problems with my x box these past few months because of the connection and there was this one time x box wouldn't even let me sign in. so I think I disserve a change in my gamer tag because all these errors going on in x box I want a gamer
tag of my choice at least because I did not spend ten dollars for no reason. it'll save you guys time if you just change it because im not going to stop until I get my gamer tag changed to something a little better of MY CHOICE.

The best policy is to use common sense

FYI it does not matter how many ways you can form a curse or use nortorious topics in different ways

The end result will only end badly for you as mentioned above too many violations of the naming rules will only result in a perm ban of your account

You should feel lucky for a second chance as most services will only deal with it severely like a perma suspension. Of the said account on first offence (psn ) or a few days chat ban and a fforced rename along with the paid rename if you want a custom one

Word filters can only block so much

If you choose to bypass it then that's your issue

It tells you in the part of the code of conduct that I posted what is acceptable & what isn't.

You chose to ignore that & your gamertag was changed.

You can post as much as you want,the ONLY way you will get a gamertag of your choice is to pay to change the tag you have now.You certainly won't get a free change because you've had issues signing in to xbox live recently.

this is all just irrelevant. but one thing I want to know is.. if you guys care so much about rules then how come u don't ban kids that are under 12 playing rated M games. or people threatening other people on x box? but when it comes to one offended gamer
tag you guys decide to cause such a huge scene. its jus immature and stupid. is there any chance I can speak or email the manager because you guys and your hard heads aren't getting me anywhere. where going in circles. so do me that favor. thank you very much

 

Your not going to get a different answer no matter who you talk to.It may not be the answer you want but we've explained to you the only way you can change your gamertag will be by paying for it.

It's not illegal for under 12's to play an M rated game,it's illegal for them to buy one.

If someone is found to be threatening people on xbox live the the appropriate action is taken.
