Gamer tag Hate

Hello my gamer tag is and I was told by a Microsoft employee on chat that I could change my gamer tag due to hate messages. Thank you!

sorry but unless your tag violates the rules you will have to pay to change it all you can do is report user's tags that are saying stuff via your 360/One dashboard then block communications with them then they cannot message you anymore. OR you can set
your profile to friends only so only those on your friend's list can communicate with you those are your ONLY options.

People in games of mine say mean things about my gamer tag and it's really annoying and really mean stuff and I'm tired of it I have no money to change my gamer tag though I need help really bad

 

Unfortunately you cannot get a free gamertag change from the forums. The only way is to pay the fee to change it.

There is no way to request a forced name change. The enforcement team will only investigate your account if someone has filed a complaint on your account and they will only give a forced change if your gamertag violates the code of conduct. Even if they
did issue a forced change, they would give you a randomly generated tag.
You would not be able to choose your new tag without paying.



You can always earn credits on Xbox Live Rewards to purchase your new Gamer-Tag, When you've racked up at least 5,000 Rewards Credits or more, whether on Xbox One or Xbox 360, they'll be converted into your
country's local currency and deposited into your Microsoft account. Then it's off to the Xbox stores, where you can use your money to pick up your favorite Xbox One and Xbox 360 games, Avatar props and more, But in your case a new Gamer-Tag.
