Gamer Tag flagged, changed by Xbox and is horrible.

So I had a great gamer tag in *** Jeramy, had it for years! Then I get an email telling me it's "inappropriate" and it has been changed....to GreatFawn... you guys are some evil ***. Can I, at the least, pick out the name and NOT pay the 9.99. It's not like
it was my choice to change it, 6 or 7 years with the same gamer tag makes life easy.

Help with changing gamer tag

i want to change my gt to TidalSnow but someone else has already got it and I don't want to replace one of the letters with numbers so if someone could suggest how I change it up a bit to use it that'd be great.

I've tried it with a space between as Tidal Snow but someone's got that too.

It doesn't matter how long you've had a tag, if the enforcement team sees it and it violates the code of conduct they will change it. You will have to pay to change it to something else. This is part of the Code of Conduct that you agreed to.

Check the forced name change at that link. It's very simple, your tag was reported and found to violate the policy. You got your tag changed to a system created tag, you can change it for a fee or learn to live with the new one.

You can try to get a rep either on chat or via phone and attempt to sort this out with them. It is unlikely that this will be changed back as that tag was flagged for a change. In the forums we cannot assist with a gamer tag change.

You have posted this before.

Gamer tags are not case sensitive or space sensitive. Once a tag has been flagged as used there is a 5 year delay once the account goes inactive before it can be released. This is done in batches.
