    Hi,...

    righto, here it is.. i have inadvertedly created 2 microsoft accounts... one is assigned to my google email... one is assigned to my outlook email... i have a gamer tag assigned to my gmail.. and i created my sons gamertag to my outlook email... now hes
    old enough to have his own email.. i need to chenge his gamertag to his own email.. now heres the thing, i still use my outlook regulary.. ive saved passwords and other subscrpitions attached to it, so i cant go through the process of adding my sons email
    to my outlook account and setting that as a primary email, just so he can log in.. nor can i delete my email, as i still use it... how do i have it so, i can transfer his gamertag to his email/ alias...whilst retaining my outlook and alias without deleting?.....

    1800-4MY-XBOX. They will be able to help assist you on recovering your GamerTag and changing the email associated with your Xbox Live Profile.

    Hi if you are simply changing your gamer tag then yes it will as it will switch to the new gamer tag.

    Hello dennisgallagher-2015, Gamertags are directly associated with the Microsoft account you've signed in to and purchase your games and subscriptions, so you can't delete a Gamertag from a Microsoft account, but you can exchange it.

    It sounds like you used a different email on your phone than the one that was registered to Karol201. It therefore gave you a new Gamertag for this email address.

    Use an Xbox 360 console to find out what the email associated with Karol201 is, then use that email address on the Windows Phone.

    Unfortunately to switch out the Microsoft Account (MSA, the email) you need to reset the phone to factory settings and then set it up as new, using the right MSA. To reset, go to Settings/About/Reset.
