Gamer tag deemed inappropriate

I changed my gamer tag over a year ago and it was accepted at that time. Now it's been deemed inappropriate and I will be charged to change it?

Forced gamertag Change

My gamer tag was forcibly changed by Microsoft because it was "deemed inappropriate". The gamer tag was not inappropriate at all. How do I go about contacting them to get some help?

Some words, "Epic" for example, aren't allowed as a clan tag, because they've most likely been deemed overused. Also, anything inappropriate, or even seemingly inappropriate, or even containing words within (such as @@@ in ASSAULT) could be prohibited. The
tag "SKEE" could be deemed inappropriate because it has a resemblance to [mod removed], which is a slang term for something inappropriate. I would try trying to come up with another word. I hope this helps, thanks!

 

It doesn't matter if you've had a gamertag for 5 minutes or 5 years. If it's a violation of the code of conduct, the enforcement team will issue a forced gamertag change and you will have to pay to change it to something else.

What will I do when someone suffering with narcolepsy deems my new tag offensive?

 

Gamertags don't necessarily have to be offensive in order to get a forced name change. They just have to violate the code of conduct.
