Gamer tag complaint

bow is correct the F and U are the problem as they are an acronym for a very bad profanity words. if you got a FNC cause if it you will NOT get your old name back, change it to something rated E for everyone and sign back in. warning: if you get too many
FNCs you will be perm banned from live.

XBLPET issues FNC for a reason. If you had to change your name then that's really all there is to it. They don't just get a report and then hit some button to take action on a account. They look at it from every angle they can to make sure they are doing
the correct thing.

Then file a report on their gametag using your console tools.

The years that you had the name for doesn't matter

What matters is that it offended someone

FYI you may not create a gamertag that contains offensive topics and it is dealt with only when it is reported and investigated

Your gamertag must be rated e for everyone

You may post here for the reason but you will have to pay for the change and keep it clean

Multiple name changes will only result in a perm ban of the account

I'm assuming it is the first two letters you had in your previous tag that may be the problem. It can be taken as an abbreviated profanity which is not allowed. Regardless of your intention of the meaning I doubt they will overturn the FNC.

Wrong gamer tag. If they get enough complaints they have to notice.
