    Gamer tag changed, now no play


    my young son changed the gamer tag on his Xbox one from the name given when we set it up after purchase. It is a mine craft edition which loads the game by a code over the Internet. After he changed the gamer tag, the console will not play any game. Even
    the ones we own the disc. When I try to start any game it locks up. What the hay!

    I tried to change the gamer tag back to the original and it wants $10. What to do to restore play?

    Help with changing gamer tag

    i want to change my gt to TidalSnow but someone else has already got it and I don't want to replace one of the letters with numbers so if someone could suggest how I change it up a bit to use it that'd be great.

    I've tried it with a space between as Tidal Snow but someone's got that too.

    People should get a new change gamer tag as people change and gamer tags may be irrelevant now.

    the free gamer tag change was only allowed when your gamer tag change was forced. People abused this by reporting gamer tags that people wanted to change so once a force change was made they then changed it again to what they wanted for free. Because
    of that abuse of the system all game tag changes now cost even if a force change has happened.

    I have a question the people that are pushing us out of our spots that are teammates that is called trolling and thinking you're funny and hilarious and getting a skilled what's going to be done with them because I file complain on at least I know

    While this is a real problem, there is the bigger one to be aware of. When enough negative reports are made MSLive offers a free gamer tag change (why I have no clue). The player you report and DO NOT PREFER to play with changes the gamer tag and now is
    paired back in matches with you. This leads to another DO NOT PREFER and negative rep which results in yet another gamer tag change free of charge. MSXBL needs to take this to the next level of preference control, block the account not the gamer tag from
    being paired with players who do not prefer to play with unsporting trolls.

    Why did my gamer-tag change? It really didn't offend nobody ( BIgBOyLuvMiLPhz )it was a funny gamer-tag to make people laugh and this was my first time actually getting reported. My friends gamer-tag were funny but when they got reported they had to change
    there gamer-tag to something else or they couldn't play live at all and you gave them a (FREE GAMER-TAG CHANGE), how come I cant get that opportunity to change my gamer-tag?
