Gamer tag changed against my will with out telling before doing!

I have had my gamer tag wich was aproved several years ago changed without anyone giving me a good reason. That pisses me off! Every day of the week i use the live function ta play and have fun with many of my friends. I have to admit that i often cross
the path of gamers with very sexual, rasistic or even antisemitik gamer tags. But as i now look back upon the past years i have never seen anyone of my friends or gamers having to change a gamertag you have recognised as ok when they were created. The one
thing that upsets me the most is that no discusion has occurd, not even a hint on what you think is inaproprate. Howe come?

I therefor protest on your actions as i think your totally wrong and just underline your ignorence. Really, what is harmfull about ""??????? Having balls is just expressing another way of beeing bold.

This is just a few, judge for yourselfs. This pathetic, its low, really low.

By the way, take a good look, how many gamer tags consists of this combo, XXX or xxx?????????? Thats something you should really think about. Its a combo i never type online in a searchframe, yet its ok to use as a gamertag!?!

Xbox account has become two separate accounts

No it's definitely the same email and password and worthlesswine9 is the same gamer tag Xbox gave me before I changed it , it's just erased that I changed it along with my gamer score and started again from the beginning but with my changed gamer tag n score
still out there in cyberspace wherei can see it but not access it :/

For information about why it was changed and to see about submitting a case review, you would need to go to
http://enforcement.xbox.com However, the policy is per the code of conduct you agreed to. It doesn't matter whether you've had a tag for 5 minutes or 5 years, if it violates the code, the enforcement team will change
it. Sometimes it just takes longer for someone to report it.

What sort of enforcement can I expect for creating an offensive Gamertag or Real Name?
If you create an offensive or inappropriate Gamertag, it will be replaced with a new automatically-generated Gamertag. If your Real Name content is deemed offensive it will not be changed, but the ability to share it with others on Xbox Live will be disabled.

Like others have stated NO one here can help you with an enforcement issue the ONLY people that can help you is the enforcement team at their website enforcement.xbox.com You can go there and file for a case review which will give you a chance to appeal
your gamer tag change and someone from the enforcement team will reinvestigate and determine if your gamer tag truly violated the code of conduct and determine if they would allow you to have that gamer tag back or not.

 

Xbox enforcement has made its final call, Im not allowed to keep my old gamer tag! Really!?! It tells you about the doubble standard in todays society, its ok to show how some law enforcer blows the head off on a bad guy but if you show a female nipple
on tv all hell breaks loose. My reaction is extremley negative as i am convinced Xbox enforcement is doing a very pour job. But, its just for me to accept their decission an go on. And i will, the question is in what forum as i really think Enforcement has
taken it one step to far. Im waiting to see whats gonna happend to all those gamertags out there.

 

Unless someone reports them, or a newly added wordfilter detects them, probably nothing.

The Enforcement Team gets thousands of reports daily, so they don't actively search for Gamertags that MIGHT be offensive.

Only if another player sees your Gamertag and is offended by it, they can report it, and an Enforcement Team member then checks if the report is valid.

If the reported Gamertag does not violate the Code of Conduct, nothing will happen.

For example, some years ago, a marines veteran (or something along the lines) was offended by a gamer using "Semper Fi" or some similar motto that they used "exclusively" in the special forces.

The gamer could keep the Gamertag, since it doesn't violate the Code of Conduct, even though a person seemed "offended" by it.

However your reference to the goat genitals probably violated the CoC, and when a gamer reported it, the Enforcement team acted on that report, as in their opinion the CoC was violated.

 

The Code of Conduct and standards required to use xbox live service are clear and have nothing to do with personal views on morals or politics. You accepted those rules when you signed for the service and they are enforced as such
