Gamer Tag Change Without Notice

I was out for a week in Vacation and I come back and I am asked to re-download my profile. After doing that It made me a whole different name that i had before. I had the gamer tag CaptNSmackaho98 for a good 2 1/2 years without any problems. I never cheated,
never modded, and now you guys are asking me to pay 9.99 for a new gamer tag. No. First there is nothing wrong with it it doesn't have vulgarity, sexual words. I am spending money right now studying extra classes during summer for High School and I don't have
money to spend on myself. I am frustrated that after the number of years I had this account just now I have been "reported". If this is just a way for Xbox to get money from people. You can just forget about people caring anymore

i just had my gamer tag forced changed, without notice. i cant even change it to a new tag of my choosing. so, for now its QuickBunny... agent on the phone said, thats how they do it now. no warning or notice, xbox just changes the gamer tag to whatever
they want. anyway, just wanted to check if '[MOD REMOVED]" would be ok before i spend the $10. thanx in advance for any responds.

 

Gamer tag changed without my consent

I'm sure something like this had happened before but I'm new to the forum. My gamer tag was changed to done random tag without my knowledge. Does anyone know why and how to correct this without the absurd charge microsoft implements?

 

It's not the best of gamer tags but it does violate the Code of Conduct. Smacka ho indicates violence towards women not exactly the kind of gamertag you want to have on a gaming service.

 

You are kidding right ?I really hope so because of you can't see why your name is a a serious violation of the terms of use and humanity then you need to read the rules again

In no society is violence or abuse acceptible

And is a "serious" violation of the terms of use

Replacing words with letters willl never change the meaning

You are posting in the wrong forums and if you ccannot see what is wrong with the gamertag them maybe you should start thinking about the rules more

Also it does not matter how long you had the gamertag it was only recently when your name was reported

As there are no time machines no one can reverse time and force your name years ago

People tend to hide words after other words to hide a phrase to get past a word filter

It will not stop a mod from baning the name

And consider it a second chance

Most services will had a suspension along with the ban

I'd be worried about your morals then 10bucks at this point if you don't see the serious violation
