Gamer Tag change request

When making an account on the Xbox 360 i did not get an option to skip the gamertag creation and just to keep the computer generated one, but i am also not able to use the free gamertag change so i was wondering if its possible to get a gamertag change.

Help with changing gamer tag

i want to change my gt to TidalSnow but someone else has already got it and I don't want to replace one of the letters with numbers so if someone could suggest how I change it up a bit to use it that'd be great.

I've tried it with a space between as Tidal Snow but someone's got that too.

ummm you don't skip making a gamer tag

I don't think you fully understand the article

Only gamer tags created in 2016 and after get randomly generated names

You don't get a choice to skip or. Choose

Since your name was created by You you have to pay for your change

on new accounts that get thw free name change you are given the name by the system then you can change it for free after

So ya you don't qualify for a free name change

You should feel fortunate xbox is the only console that even allows name changes

Yes. Since the tag you're using is not a randomly generated tag, you will have to pay if you want to change your tag.

you have to have a name to game online regardless you have e to have a unique name online

You chose your first name and now want to have a second which is a privilege not a right

Unfortunately the mere participation in any modified lobbies, including exp ones have been resulting in the participants getting a permanent ban from XBL. There used to be a sticky thread in the Suspension Thread about it but
it seems it is no longer there. To edit a post, before the time limit runs out, you just click the pencil icon below the post.

There is no proof that the XBL PET will accept except the kind that is gathered from their network and equipment by them.

In the post where I said I was hosting lobbies did you see the gamertag I put? Yes, it was vHazie. He was getting me spammed with messages, so I made a post to get him spammed with messages.

Maybe if you are going to do research look a little bit further into it.

I am not worried about being banned because I have not hosted any illegal lobbies. I purchased an Xbox after being 9th prestige on PS3 and wanted my custom classes so I joined an EXP lobby. I can not and will not be banned for doing so.

As for hosting lobbies, once again, read my post through. I copied the post HE made about ME, but posted HIS gamertag. Sorry for the confusion.

I do not need to create a new gamertag, as I said I have done nothing illegal.

I should have been more clear. From your point of view it seems as if I have done illegal lobbies and such, which I haven't. Hell, why would I be posting here if I actually hosted any?

Sorry for the confusion and thanks for looking into it more than the support dude did, but, clearing up what I have done; once again, no modded lobbies, I participated in an EXP lobby hosted by some random guy to get 9th prestige, which can not get me banned.

I'll be sending you a msg on Xbox LIVE to make sure you know I responded and to clear up my point of view. Hopefully you read my response.

Hey there! Yes, those are our hours, but we also ask that you allow 24 hours for a response.

That said, regarding your issue, we cannot control what other users post on other sites. What you can do is file a complaint against the user and block communication with other users, both of which we have steps for in this guide:

forums.xbox.com/.../19139.aspx If you wish to change your GT, it would be 800 msp, but there has been a few sales lately to change it for only 400 msp.
