Gamer Tag Change not showing

    Gamer Tag Change not showing


    I changed my Gamer Tag and everything went through fine but the change is not showing up on xbox or my microsoft account. but it did use up my 1 free name change

    Can you please sign in to https://account.xbox.com/profile and check if the changes took place from there?

    Are you sure you are signed in with the account that you made the change on?

    Sometimes it can take up to 24 hours for the change to show everywhere also.

    Which one is your gamer tag the HNQ3 or the Xlogicaal?

    Where did you go to change your gamer tag at on the console or online?

    Gamertag change issue

    You might want to check the sign in email address that you used when you were online and changed your gamer tag.

    Go back online and sign in and see if the gamer tag is showing up when you're online on the Xbox website.

    If it's showing up there correctly, then you'll want to go back to the Xbox Console and Add that account to your Xbox using that sign in email address.

    If your gamer tag is not showing up online and you were charged for the gamer tag change and it didn't take you can contact Xbox Support for a refund "maybe".

    The other possibility is that you're signed in on the Xbox console with one account and you signed in online with a different account. If that's the case then you may have changed the GT on the wrong account.

    Gamertag suffix issue

    Hi KC,

    Thanks for coming to the forums. Unfortunately, there is no way of removing the suffix. They added the suffix so many people could have same gamer tag. Example if multiple people wanted John smith then the suffix gets added to tell people apart. When making
    a gamer tag, it will show you what the gamer tag will look like. If it is a unique one that no one has it will not show the suffix. Please make sure you check these when going to change gamer tag. There are a few gamer tag checkers out there that are not correct.
