Gamer tag change by the enforcement team

My gamer tag was change to a randomly selected one. The email stated that my gamer tag was offensive and people on the xbox live community reported it. The gamer tag was iSlappedtheKids and I was not allowed to change it to whatever I wanted. I had that
gamer tag for almost a year now. I would like a better reason why it was changed rather than it being offensive. Also, if it is possible for a free gamer tag change. Thank you, p.s. I am pissed off.

Apparently my gamer tag has been changed by the enforcement team. It will cost $10 to change to something I would like other than the gamer tag provided to me by the enforcement team. Any way to change my gamer tag for free?

Sorry, but no. There is no way to get a free change.

 

There's a Code of Conduct which was agreed to when you signed up for Xbox Live. Because you violated one of the rules, and the policy enforcement team enforces by an automatic change now, you're going to have to pay the fee if you want it changed.

There's no way to contact/have the PET follow up.

I had my gamer tag running for 2 years and it hasnt been changed until today. i find this unfair as it never warned me and feel i should be allowed a gamer tag reset

 

Please don't bump old threads. Your warning is the code of conduct that you agreed to. It doesn't matter how long you've had a gamertag, if it violates the code of conduct they will change it.
