    Gamer tag cannot be created. The issue has not been fixed for 4 hours.


    I see this has been an ongoing issue that happened at least 3 years ago and it is still happening today as I just created an xbox account and I am still stuck on creating gamertag. The 'next' button does not work. When will the microsoft fix this?

    My Problem List. Worst Problem, Notifications VERY delayed!

    Btw, power cycling has not fixed any issues. Deleting gamer tag and recovering has not resolved any issues.

    I agree in that they owe Xbox live gold members at least one day of free xbox live. The outage has gone on long enough in America to affect an entire night's worth of usage which for anyone working is a full day of usage.

    They are working on a fix. Depending on the issue, it can take quite a bit of time to resolve.

    In regards to the PlayStation 4, you still have to pay for PSN to go online and play most of the games. The only ones that are really excluded are free-to-plays.

    News flash PlayStaion goes down too. Or do we forget when it went down for a month and a half back in 2011? As well as certain PC games. They are working their hardest to get it up and running for everyone. You'd also have to pay to use PSN and you'd only
    get 2 games with PlayStation Plus, opposed to the 4 you get with Games with Gold.
