Gamer Score wiped

I went onto my xbox for the first time in nearly four years, my gamer score was just over 100,000 but then I went online and it was wiped, five minutes later my account started unlocking achievements while I was on the dashboard, now I have 1040 GS, I have
no idea what is going on, I looked online and could only find threads about accounts being reset for modding/cheating, I went onto
http://enforcement.xbox.com/home and it says "Congratulations! You have a perfect record" so I haven't been accused of modding/cheating nor have I got the cheater label so I don't understand what
has happened.

Sorry to hear it. It is quite possible that you have had a gamerscore reset on your account. You said that you hadn't been on the account for almost 4 years. The enforcement website only shows the last 18 months of actions. Anything prior to that will
not be available.

The best way to tell if you've been reset is to try and earn one of the achievements you had previously as any achievements you had before being reset can no longer be earned on that account.

 

I just tried to unlock an achievement on minecraft but no luck, even though I haven't signed into my profile via xbox, I have signed in via this site over those years and maintained my gamer score, however the last time I did log in was about a year ago
via website, but I still maintained "Congratulations! You have a perfect record" and my GS and I never received any notification/message of my account being reset, so if there is a 18 month period of keeping track then I should be able to see if my account
has become tarnished. Might it be some kind of glitch as I was unlocking achievements while on the dashboard a few minutes after signing and getting reset, this makes no sense.

 

Gamerscore resets come about when your account activity has been found to be cheating/modding/glitching achievements to inflate your score. If your Enforcement profile comes up clean right now, then this action was likely carried out well over 18 months
ago, as that's how far the records go (as far as what the Xbox account holder is able to view is concerned).

This is an enforcement action carried out by the Xbox Live Policy Enforcement Team (XBLPET). No one on the forums here can verify or review your account whatsoever. The XBLPET do not address grievances around here as they do not use the forums.

You can verify that your gamerscore was reset by doing what "onyxishere" suggested: attempt to regain any achievement you feel was lost. If it does not unlock nor add to your current score, it has been permanently locked due to the reset.
