Gamer score reset

Good evening,

About an hour ago I reactivated a one year Gold membership; I was out for about 8-10 months, and wanted to get back in. In the meantime, I had built up around 5000 Gamer-score offline. When I logged back in, my new Gamer-score did not transfer over, and my
old score overwrote the current one. I dropped from 8500-9500 to 3582. I contacted Support and I was instructed to post here. My gamertag is . Thanks for the help.

Gamer score reset?

Well that bloody sucks as theavatar items are bloody expensive. i regret purchasing now, what a waste of hardearned money.

I don't see why they cant be removed from this account and added into another account as a transfer request, it can't be that hard. or I be given the points to buy the certain items i had purchased. I know gmes will cross over, which is nice.

But damn.

Can't they be removed from one and added to another? Or, deleted from one account and Gamer coins or whatever they're called be added on?

Sounds like when you connected to live again it download your profile from the last time you signed into xbox live from 8-10 months ago.

Your profile has been overwritten so there is no way to get those achievements back other than unlocking them again.

as soon as the Xbox Live Enforcement team will see the cheating part is will probably be reset.

But as some information, all your current achievements and gamerscore will be reset, and you won´t be able to re-earn those achievements and your account will be labeled as 'Cheater' See this link for any additional information:

So if you want to earn those achievements yourself, you will need to create a new xbox live account and start from scratch

You can't request a gamerscore reset.If the enforcement team see that you have a modded gamerscore then it will be reset,you will have "cheater" on your profile & you will not be able to earn any reset achievements again on that profile.

The only way to really start over is by creating a new account. A gamerscore reset is only given if you have been found to have gained your achievements by cheating the system. Once a reset is given, you are labelled a cheater and can never re-earn any of
the achievements you previously had.

I've asked people I know on Xbox live who are over 18 they are around there 40s and they said they see family zone not cheater. Plus I've never modded my gamer score ever so how can I mod something if I've never done it.

Sorry to hear that, this means that you have modded your gamerscore.

The XBLPET does 100% Investigation and then makes the reset (Gamerscore Correction)

If you were over 18 Years old your profile would have been labelled as a ''Cheater''

Make a new post on the '' My LIVE account was suspended'' section.

Tell them you gamerscore got reset, they will tell you the exact reason why your gamerscore was reset.

A gamerscore correction occurs on a player’s LIVE account when they gain achievements through avoiding game play and the use of external tools. LIVE is committed to keeping the service free of this type of behavior as it violates the
LIVE Terms of Use. When abnormal achievement or gamerscore activity is found, LIVE modifies the gamerscore of players who meet specific and automated criteria.

A LIVE player who obtained their gamerscore in this abnormal way will

Find their gamerscore reset to zero, and
Be unable to regain all previously earned achievements, and
Be labeled as a “cheater” for the community to view (for members over 18 years old).

While players who have been identified by these criteria will start from a zero gamerscore, they will still be able to gain achievements for future games. In other words, we give them another chance to earn future achievements by earning them as other “fair”
players do. The original gamerscore correction will remain permanent without any way to appeal.
