gamer score question

This is a bit hard to word so please bare with me here.

I know when you get an xbox 1 you can transfer your gamer score from the 360 to it. My question is once you start increasing your gamer score on xbox 1 games what happens if you got back and play an xbox 360 game and get new achievements there? Do they also
add to your now xbox 1 score or do they get forgotten or what? How does this work exactly?

It's not a big deal but I'd still like to know what to expect because I want an xbox 1 but there are still a lot of 360 games I need to play too.

Gamer Score

We only pay attention to ours once in a while and its only with two friends, one being a cousin so there is a little family competition going on there too. Unless we are all playing and having a BBQ/sleep over (for adults, meaning adult beverages and no drinking) we never fool with it but sometimes we do have side bets going on.

 

Gamer Score

At first, I didn't pay any attention to my gamer score, but as I've started to play video games more and more and watch TV less and less, I've started paying more attention to the achievements you can get, so now I'm actively working to up my gamer score, where before I couldn't care less. I've got a long ways to go though, because my gamer score is only about 2,000, ha ha!!

 

All points from both consoles will be added together. Even if you go back and forth.

 

good I didn't want to abandon my xbox 360. I was hoping this would be how it worked out. Still frustrated I cant get the score from the original xbox but I've lived with out that long enough now

 

I don't recall there being Gamerscore on the original Xbox.

 

I never had the original one but I have one of the games I use on 360 and I can't get the achievements from it. I didn't know there wasn't a score for it. If so then no big deal then

 

You didn't miss any Gamerscore. The backwards compatible games always showed a place holder for the games in your games played list. and always with a 0 Gamerscore.

If there were achievements for the original, I would have another 15-20 K.
