Gamer profile bug 360 games

After having contacted Microsoft Support multiple times today, I was suggested to post my issues here on the forum.

I've been having problems with my Xbox One after trying to play a Xbox 360 game on it. (Fallout 3)

I was unable to download the profile, and all the steps have been performed with Microsoft support.

This issue also occurs with other Xbox 360 games, however the Xbox one games work perfectly fine.

I have a major issue with my gamer tag, it looks like it has privacy settings of a child. Wont let me play online :-( . Anybody got any solutions, at my wits end

Sorry to hear about the profile trouble with this. Please give the following steps a try so we can best help out.

• Remove your profile from the Xbox One console
  
• Power cycle your Xbox One by holding power button for 8-10 seconds until the Xbox One powers off. Then power it back on.
  
• Add your profile back to your Xbox One
  
• Start the Backward Compatible game and attempt to re-download your profile (to pull up the guide press both
  the menu and view button at the same time)

If after running through the above steps don't help please head over to this survey and fill it out. By following the steps and filling it out, we'll be able to provide your issue to
the appropriate team to further look into this. Thank you

Like mentioned in my first post, all of the steps have already been preformed with the Microsoft Support. This includes the steps u've suggested, along with many other steps that have already been taken. I've filled out the survey and hope the issue will
be resolved!

I don't want to be negative or anything but this needs to be stated:

We shouldn't need to fill out surveys with the promise of getting it fixed. This is clearly an issue with certain consoles themselves, and they need to be replaced.

There are plenty of working consoles, so if certain "types" of consoles are having this problem they are defective models and need to be replaced or removed from the market. Taking months to fix this is not acceptable on a system with a 48-60 month life
cycle, this isn't a microwave, 6 months is at least 10% of the products life!

Microsoft, I am an IT professional, I have worked through this issue on the phone with you and by myself and I'm telling you right now as a small business owner: YOU NEED TO REPLACE THESE CUSTOMERS CONSOLES IMMEDIATELY. There are working consoles out there,
you know it, you need to get them to customers with no delay.

How long do you expect your customers to put up with this?

I own 2 Xbox Ones, a PS4, and a Wii U. BOTH XBOX ONES HAD TO BE REPLACED, the PS4 and Wii U are fine.

The quality control issue with Xbox is real, it's way higher than industry average and obscenely high compared to the average product. It's time we demand the quality we deserve.

These issues are past the point where it's reasonable to ask customers to continue being patient and trusting you to fix it in time.
