Gamer points glitch

Last week i went to play Halo 2 (Master Chief collection) on my sons xbox one, his profile was already signed in so i changed to my profile which was migrated from my xbox 360. It asked if i wanted to sync the profile and i said no.

I then thought about it and realized i did want to sync the profile so i could see my gamer points, but i couldnt find the option to do it retrospectively, so i changed to his profile briefly and back to mine. He signed in on his profile to play co-op and upon
starting the game (which i have never played) i was awarded all of his gamer points and achievements for Halo 2, it actually took a few minutes as it systematically awarded me the achievements.

I have also seen where i would be logged in but when i go to play a game another profile is displayed. You may check on my profile to see that this did actually happen but im not sure if you can see how the achievements were granted.

Ok first off this is real as opposed to the bs on YouTube etc.

Game points glitch

So I just wanted to see what the price for Marble Blast was and see if I was able to purchase it. When I checked, I was given the following

Now after calculating the cost of all those points plus the 5% tax here, it came to $64,424,514. Marble Blast is a good game but not that good. Why would I have to take over a corporation such as Microsoft just to purchase this game?

Hi there, I'm having a little trouble understanding exactly what your issue is? When the game was syncing data, that was not to display your Gamerscore from the 360, but sync your profile with the games save data that was on the cloud, this sometimes happens
when you haven't even played the game and I think it might be creating a save file on the cloud for your profile.

It sounds as if it synced your son's save data with your profile, this would explain why the achievements unlocked. I don't think that should have happened, though as you're not using anything outside the console standard software, I don't see enforcement
action being taken on your account.

So when you log-in and see another gamertag, is the console set to automatically sign someone in when it's switched on? Maybe you're just signing-in as a second account?

My son and his friend were playing Rocket League (4:30 eastern time) and they both lost all their Gamer Points. Was this a glitch and will it be fixed?

The point of achievements is to earn them the way there meant to be played pure survival is meant to show off item management skills not glitching in a weapon with unlimited ammo its just as bad as you sucky gamers who are backing up saves of hardcore.

You didn't by any chance gain them by the exploiting the 160 MS points / 48-hour code glitch (the glitch allowed 160 point codes to be generated)? The reason I ask, is that 6880 divided by 160 is 43 (potentially 43, 160 point codes used to redeem 6880 points).
If you did exploit the glitch, Microsoft is redeeming the points received from exploiting the glitch. I was reading an article the other day and it quoted Microsoft saying that anyone who gained from the glitch, will have the points taken off of them eventually.

I encountered nothing major, only minor graphical glitches but compared to the main game these were few and far between. The only thing that glitched on me was that in my profile none of the acheivements show being earned for yHH even though it reflects
in my overall gamer score. I recovered my gamer tag and that didnt fix it, guess this part is buggy but nothing to do with game play. Friend of mine had similar issues so oh well. Well worth the ms points in my opinion.
