Gamer picture missing & Kinect is very laggy and cannot hear any audio

My Kinect decided it didn't want to listen to me anymore, and being low on money with an out-of-warranty piece of hardware,
[Mod Removed] At this point, I had already hard reset and cycled the power multiple times, as well as try to calibrate the microphone. Another thing I noticed was that "what my Kinect sees" is very laggy, and runs at *roughly* 1 fps.

In the end, everything is exactly the same as it was before I decided to clean it out.

On another note, I also noticed that my gamer picture in the upper left of my home screen has disappeared. I have tried changing it to no avail. When I go to my profile it shows up, but when I go to sign in, it shows no gamer picture for my profile. I have
been absolutely devouring the internet looking for answers (one thread I found led me to believe that these occurrences may be related), and have gotten no help or responses

NOTE: I am reluctant to e-mail MS about this issue, since I disassembled the Kinect sensor for cleaning purposes ONLY (and I am even more hesitant to even think about opening up the Xbox itself)

hi, my XboxOne has suddenly stopped showing any video/games or any picture.. can hear sound and when say 'xbox' i can hear it respond throug kinect but no picture... can you help..can it be re set

 

No sound on xbox console using HDTV

Hello i am hoping someone can help,i cannot get any audio on my xbox 360 using an HDTV,The picture is fine but no audio,i have tried all the settings and switching the audio switch between HDTV and TV but still no sound.Would be grateful for any assistance,thanks.

Sorry to hear about the Kinect sensor issue. Normally sending in for repair would be the best option for this issue. However, since you had mentioned that the Kinect sensor had been opened, that does void any warranty or repair.

As for the odd gamer picture issue, I suggest trying to remove and redownload your profile from the Xbox One console. To do that, follow these steps below:

• Press the Menu button the Xbox One controller, and then select Settings.
  
• In the Settings menu, scroll to the right and select Remove accounts.
  
• Select your profile and follow the prompts to remove your profile.
• After you have removed your profile.
• Navigate back to the Home screen and then select Sign in to add your profile back to the Xbox One console.
  

Follow the steps above and let us know if the profile picture appears for you!

 

UPDATE: Backed up all my games/apps to an external hard drive and did a factory reset. Instantly fixed both issues for me, and opened up my NAT as well. Hopefully this will be of some help to someone with the same problems I had.
