GamePass will not Update to my new GamerTag

Originally I created the username Dailan#9456

I then changed my Gamertag to Dailan#7533 Using the free gamertag change.

All of the Microsoft websites had my gamertag as Dailan#7533, however my Xbox Game pass app would not update, and Remained as Dailan#9456 for 4 weeks.

Today, I linked Dailan#7533 to my Ubisoft account, Ideally to download Rainbow Six: Extraction. However, when I go to download, it wont work because my xbox app ahs me as Dailan#9456. the usernames don't match.

So, since the numbers are randomly assigned, and my letters were exactly the same, I decided to pay the $10 to change my username to The Dailan#9695

Went and linked my brand ne The Dailan#9695 to my Ubisoft account, no issues as allllll of my Microsoft accounts update to my new gamer tag with no issue.

My Xbox game pass app still remained Dailan9456, my gamertag that was now 2 tags old.

I deleted my Game pass app, and reinstalled a fresh one. Signed in, still stuck on Dailan#9456.

Not sure what to do as there isn't anyone available for the public to contact at Microsoft about these types of issues. Hoping to get ahold of someone here. I know that the name change doesn't happen instantly, but the first time I changed it, it didn't update after 4 weeks of the change. Any help would be appreciated

Lets refresh your PC profile.

Select the Start button > Settings > Accounts , then find the Microsoft account you used to sign in to the Xbox app and select Remove. Then go back to the Xbox app and sign in with the Microsoft account you just removed.

If that doesn't help;

Try this: Go to Windows settings >> Apps >> Xbox >> Advanced >> Repair & Reset.

After doing that, Perform the same steps for Gaming Services and Microsoft Store as well.

The new gamertag system is still updating and not all games currently support the new gamertags.
