Gamepass - PC - Halo Master Chief Collection will not uninstall

I'm not able to get rid of the Halo Master Chief Collection files after I "uninstall" it from gamepass. It vanishes from my apps list, but the space on my G drive isn't reclaimed. All 155gb of files are still sitting in my G:\WindowsApps\Microsoft.Chelan_1.2406.0.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe directory. I just get "access denied" when trying to do anything at all with that folder, including just trying to view it.

If I re-install the collection to my G drive, the install is done instantly, with no downloading. I've then tried to uninstall again, but it's the same result. I've tried using Revo Uninstaller as well, but no dice, it's just the same result. Trying to delete the directories on either an Admin run command prompt or powershell just return access denied errors, even when done in the Windows 10 "minimum" safe mode environment.

Anyone any ideas what else I can do? Really not good that something as simple as the uninstall function doesn't work properly!

right click c: (does not matter if not the drive with the game)

click properties

disk cleanup and select all tick boxes, let that finish, the go back to properties, disk cleanup, cleanup system files and select all tick boxes, let that run and hopefully your space is back.
