Gamepass pc games uses 2x storage

hey all ,as you can see in "others" part there's all my gamepass games that uses space and in "installed apps" part there are the same gamepass games as well.Am i doing the math wrong?

100gb on steam+175gb on xbox+15gb on gog and lats say my other apps uses 50gb too(realistically around 15-20gb) So i should have at least around 130gb free space right? what's the problem here?

1 - Type cmd (Command Prompt) in the search bar of the Start menu and then click Run as administrator.

2 - Enter chkdsk /f/x/r/v

The system will ask you if you want to run CHKDSK after restarting the system, press S on your keyboard and then type "Exit" and restart the computer, it will scan in DOS mode.

Rocketpop. That was exactly my idea but with a daughter. Looks like 2X PS4 or get her a good PC for gaming and we will use them.

most of the games in pc gamepass are installed as XVD (xbox virtual disks), these can be seen under devices and storage.

they are basically wrapped versions of the console games. except a few like halo mcc.

Skepticality

With gamepass you get a library of games but with gamepass ultimate you get the games, xbox live gold and access to gamepass for the pc.

so personally I use ultimate because I use ot on my xbox and pc, so it’s entirely your preference
