    Gamepass PC - Games only playable on SSD


    alright i've spent hours on powershell, cmd, settings etc and nothing will work. I've tried switching the install location on the xbox app. It will install to 100% and give the error 0x80070005. Installing on SSD works with no issues. I cant find where xbox is hiding the files so I cant clear them or send them to another drive. really dont want 150gigs on my SSD but i dont really have a choice at this point. very frustrating. spent this long troubleshooting and 12hours downloading the same thing multiple times. Gamepass PC - Games only playable on SSD :) any advice? hep.

    I'm Samy an independent advisor. Welcome to the Xbox community. How are you?

    Do me a favor, on your hard drive there is a folder called ''WpSystem'', take ownership of the folder and rename it to ''WpSystem.old'', save and try downloading the games again.

    If the problem persists, go to settings>system>advanced storage settings and click ''where new content is saved'' and try to change where new apps are saved to your hard drive and save and try downloading games again.

    For me personally i would go only for the Gamepass for PC if i only play on pc. As it will have some off the xbox titles on it aswell.

    Most of the games will be only playable on pc as they where programmed/released for that platform.

    The only Xbox games currently playable on PC are play anywhere titles, and GamePass PC games. Here are a couple links that will show the current titles playable on PC via both schemes, firstly here is a LINK

    Did you sign up to Xbox GamePass for PC or for Console? If you signed up for Xbox GamePass for Console , some games, specifically play anywhere games are still playable on PC. You need to sign up for either GamePass on PC or GamePass Ultimate to access
