    Gamepass PC app has completely stopped functioning


    This program has full on stopped working, can't install anything, can't play anything installed. This is a service I, and many others are paying for, and I can see upon viewing the reviews for the gaming services feature (Which apparently just broken for HUNDREDS OF USERS from the reviews in the past few weeks alone) I'm not alone.



    This is pathetic. Support stopped responding to my troubleshooting feedback 2 days ago and here I am, with a purchase I cannot use.

    This started happening after a windows update only a few days ago, as I had just installed another game. Now I can't install anything (Button replaced with a sad face) , and launching games gives me a : (0x80004005) error.

    I've done the following:

    • Tried installing from the MS store, just gives an error after download starts
    • The Regedit Trick after deleting every registry associated with gaming services
    • Both Powershell install/uninstall tricks
    • Manually resetting both the MS Store and the Xbox App
    • Logging out and logging in about a hundred times
    • Repairing system errors (SFC /Scannow etc)
    • Did a system restore to before the issue was happening, proving that a windows reinstall wouldn't work
    • Reinstalled (Via CMD prompt) every single core Windows service
    • Run the troubleshooter
    • Re-registered the gaming services app
    • Tried the IPV6 trick
    • Cleaned out Temp Folders
    • "DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /Restorehealth"

    Gamepass just doesn't let me download anything and now playing games just doesn't work either, and now installed games aren't even showing up

    Ea play and other gamepass benefits only work with.the account that has gamepass

    Pc does.NOT have.a home.console function

    I paid for Xbox game pass for the pc but didn't get it.

    download the xbox app and sign in with your account that has gamepass pc, then download the games from gamepass pc.

    gamepass pc has a completely different catalogue of games and ea access is not part of the gamepass pc side yet (ea access is on console only)

    in the gamepass pc version there are some xbox one games which are play anywhere titles (not many).

    Suspend and resume does not work.

    My "Resume" function has completly stopped working. This function worked 95% of the time as advertised from launch day no matter how many apps I switched to, or if the console was powered down.

    This completely stopped sometime in January, and on top of that I am now greeted with "does this game belong to you?" There's a disc in the system so.....

    This occurs across all titles. Ryse, BF4, NBA 2K14, Titanfall..

    you need to get gamepass via the xbox app on pc, gamepass has nothing to do with steam, epic etc.
