    Gamepass overiding hard copy?


    So my partner has recently got into Ark, and has wanted us to play together via pc and xbox crossplay, I have the game installed via gamepass on my pc but a hardcopy installed version on xbox as the game was brought for me as a gift. Now here's the frustrating
    part even though its a seperate version of the game both systens are recognising it as one copy so we can't connect and play together!! How is that fair! When one is installed from disc and the other from the game pass library, seems to be the biggest flaw
    to me! Is there a way to fix this or am I stuck with a useless hardcopy as we arent in a position to get a 2nd xbox to play together!

    Very unfair

    And just to be sure, you do have the disc in the console as you're trying to play?

    The store won't show that you own the game since you bought it on disc and not digitally.

    Gamepass is not for me... I like to own all my games... my digital library plus hard copies are in the 720+ games so what can Gamepass give me that I already dont own...

    if you previously played fh4 on gamepass then got the hard copy maybe try uninstall your installed version and reinstall using the disc
