Gamepass on console subscription valid but not working properly

If your game pass is still active but your console does not let you use it then you can try removing your profile and re-adding it again.

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

Select Profile & System> Settings > Account > Remove accounts.

Choose the profile that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm.

Then restart your console.

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

Select Profile & System > Add or switch > Add new.

Enter the email address for the Microsoft account that you want to add, and then select Enter.

Important Make sure that you do not select Get a new account unless you want to create a new Microsoft account.

Enter the password for your Microsoft account, and then select Enter.

Review the Microsoft Service Agreement and Privacy Statement, and then select I Accept.

Follow the steps to configure your Sign-In, security & PIN preferences to finish adding your profile to the console.

Check Gamepass subscription validity.

The service does not allow on-going subscriptions such as GamePass to be paid for with only account balances. To sign up via the console or the Xbox website you'll need a valid payment method for the subscription.

If you don't have a valid payment method such as Debit/Credit Card or PayPal, you'll need to purchase a pre-paid Xbox GamePass subscription code from a retail store or online. Joining GamePass via this route does not require a separate payment method.

the game gears of war 3 gives the error 0x803f8001. I have my gamepass subscription valid, the only account associated with my xbox one is the main one, I already tried to restart the console and also re-install the game

this does not happen with other gamepass games I have installed.

Hi, if you are speaking about the 1$/€ gamepass ultimate for 3 months the promotion is valid for all the users only for their first subscription to gamepass ultimate, therefore if you never had a GP ultimate subscription it should be valid for you till january
6th also if you have other active gamepass or gold subscription (they will be converted and merged to ultimate, more info here). Have you tried opening the promotion with
your account? It should show you the final conversion and how much will you pay

If you have already been a GP ultimate subscriber in the past the promotion is not valid for you
