    I have had issues last two days installing games from Gamepass. The game will download and install to a certain point, the just stop. Error message is Installation Stopped. I have tried the following:

    Cleared local saved games and tried to reinstall the game

    Made sure that I had enough storage space

    Verified my connection

    Restarted console and unplug the power cable

    Restored Xbox to factory defaults

    Dead by Daylight finally installed on the 4th attempt, Halo : The Master Chief collection is still stuck on 7.66GB on third try. On different attempts I pushed from Xbox live or pulled from Gamepass on the console, nothing works. Any other suggestions on
    how to fix this?

    Have you made sure there is a valid credit/debit card and recurring billing set up on the game pass subscription page? You will need to hard reset the device as well by holding the start button for ten-seconds until switched off then unplug device one
    minute plug back in and start back up. As long as these measures are met you should be able to download all downloadable content from your game pass except some titles that have been removed.

    If you downloaded the game first from gamepass and the redeemed your download code you will need to uninstall the game and download it again from your ready to install list.

    The system picks it up when you download a game from gamepass and will stop working when the subscription ends. Even if you have a redeemed copy of the game, digital or disk.

    if you have gamepass also then while the game is part of gamepass the licence will supercede your own, once it leaves gamepass it will revert back to your licence, if you stop having gamepass it will revert too.
