    Gamepass gift code not working


    I received a free 3 month game pass for PC, through discord nitro. Have never claimed it, is not expired, yet wont work when I try to redeem it.

    The contact support isn't working, me and the automated bot just keep going in circles over and over with the message
    "Either the service is currently experiencing some problems and isn't available right now, or you entered a code that cannot be redeemed"

    Is there an email or live chat option available? This automated system is broken.

    No you don't understand how it works

    To.redeem gift codes for gamepass YOU NUST add a payment option this is confirmation you aren't cheating the system.and by adding thr code you then on autorenewal for xgu or gamepass

    And yes people try and cheat the system by not using their actual region or get cheap gamepass subscription like India's 6month deal

    You can't use a gift card to buy gamepass or live gold. You either have to purchase it with a credit card or PayPal on the console. You can also get a gamepass code from retail.

    Did you check your email for the code? When you redeem for gold or gamepass with reward points the subscription isn't automatically turned on. Or is the code itself not working? You can go to this page and see if it can help you or If not then you would
    need to request a new one.
